Auslan Beginners Day

Auslan is Australian Sign Language, the language of the Deaf community.  In this course a deaf teacher will teach you about the deaf community, their culture and language.  You will practise how to use basic signs, meet and greet, family signs etc. By the end of this course, you should be able to communicate with the Deaf Community at a basic level.


Face to Face


 3 hours per week for 6 weeks


Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email.  This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

 Parking fees may apply at some venues.

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.


Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.
