This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments and are responsible for the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.
Duration
2 days a week for 18 months
To achieve this qualification, you must have completed at least 120 hours of work.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to enrol in this qualification however to prepare you for this course we suggest you have:
- Basic computer skills
- A reasonable level of fitness to carry our manual handling and first aid
- Ideally experience in the community services sector already
- Ability to work unsupervised in your scope of practice

Completion Requirements
During your study you will be required to provide Atwea/work placement the following evidence:
- A National Police Check
- A NDIS Worker Check (if applicable)
- Vaccinations which may include COVID (if applicable)
- A Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Any other evidence your work placement provider requires
