Fun & social group tennis!

Fitness program for people of all ages and abilities. The Cardio Tennis session of 60 minutes provides a time efficient way to improve your fitness, lose weight and meet new friends. Each session comprises a warm up and cool down component with a core of drill and play based activities for a high energy workout. Cardio Tennis is conducted to high tempo music for maximum energy levels with all participants using heart rate monitors to workout in their optimal heart rate zones.


  • Students may bring their own tennis racquet or a quality demo racquet can be supplied.
  • Sports footwear, comfortable exercise apparel, towel and drinking water.

At Atwea College we offer a wide variety of Business, Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Region and the Mid North Coast.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom. Parking fees may apply at some venues.
