This course expands on from Crochet for Beginners II, challenging you to create a gorgeously original piece, designed by Shelley Husband.
Students will enhance their crochet knowledge with the introduction of variety of stitches by working multiple samples each lesson until week 3.
From week 4 students will be still learning but also creating squares for their course project, a beautiful wrap or scarf using designs by popular Australian crochet designer Shelley Husband (with permission)! EXCLUSIVE TO ATWEA!
Students are strongly encouraged to continue their samples and/or practice new techniques OUTSIDE of class in order to complete the course project.
**minimum requirement – be an adventurous beginner basic crochet knowledge of single, double, treble crochet, cluster, front/back post, popcorn and v stitche/s plus be familiar with AU/UK and US terminology. **
Delivery
Face to face in class with addition, no cost, support offered outside of course by way of email and closed Facebook group set to private and for exclusive use to the students of this course.
Duration
3 hour class week for 6 weeks
Fees
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.
Parking fees may apply at some venues.

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
Confirmation
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.

Crochet hook set – all hooks you could possibly use with the yarn of your choosing.
Scissors eg min 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm hook sizes

Pen, highlighter
Stitch markers

1. for practice samples eg 8ply
2. project yarn eg 4ply, 8ply
Display folder for course notes for easy reference throughout course, min 20 pages.
Safety
Fully enclosed non slip shoes to be worn
Follow all safety guidelines provided by the Tutor.

Go Home With
Samples created in class plus be on the way to completing your exclusive to Atwea Shelley Husband wrap/shawl – this will be subject to what students are able to complete outside of course time.
