French Pastry

This course has no current classes. Please join the waiting list.

Learn the techniques involved in cooking, piping and baking a light and crunchy choux pastry. These will be decorated with dark and white chocolate and filled with a premade piping consistency crème patissiere. All baking materials supplied supplied, students are required to bring a large container to take their pastries home.


  • Tea Towel & large container to take pastries home
  • WHS requirements fully enclosed non slip shoes to be worn and hair tied back
  • Apron
  • Follow all safety guidelines provided by the Tutor, especially in relation to hand hygiene, use of knives and  cooking with gas

Please note: Sometimes a course is either postponed or cancelled if there is not enough enrolments.. It is therefore wise to purchase your requirements after you have confirmed with us that your class is running (usually within three working days of the proposed start date).

At Atwea College we offer a wide variety of Business, Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Region and the Mid North Coast.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.
