Guitar Lessons for Beginners

Do you want to learn guitar from an expert? 

Whether you are brand new to playing the guitar or just want to brush up on the basics these guitar lessons are the best place to start.  

Join our beginner lessons and learn the basics in a fun way!

You will learn songs to build your skills together (even might form a band !!!!!!!!) and also learn how to tune your guitar so you can do that every time your perform and you will look like a pro

Learn

Basic chords, notes and rhythms and some easy popular songs.

Week 1 - Names of notes and strings

Week 2 - Easy chords and picking 

Week 3 - 8 - Progress through method book

1.5 hours a week for 8 weeks 

Fees

Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email.  This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Parking fees may apply at some venues.

Enrolment

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.

Confirmation

Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.  

Bring with you

Students are to bring their own acoustic guitar and the following:

- capo
- pick
- tuner (or download a guitar tuner app)
- music stand
- pencil

The tutor can arrange the purchase/delivery of capo, pick, tuner, and music stand if required. Please advise prior to the course commencing.
