Through interactive weekly practice, experience discussion and feedback Learn the basics and fundamentals of a variety of mediation techniques, building a relaxing practice for your soul. Allow yourself over 8 weeks, to experience a variety of meditation styles. Discover what mediation style is beneficial to you. From mindfulness to progressive full body relaxation to heart and breath centred mediations as well as a variety of other styles. Give yourself permission to create a new peaceful practice, learn to simplify meditation to introduce it into your life. Potentially bringing peace and harmony to your day. A regular mediation practice as simple as 10 minutes a day benefits the immune system, mental clarity and focus and reduces overall stress levels.


  • Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, rug or knee cushion.

At Atwea College we offer a wide variety of Business, Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Region and the Mid North Coast.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.
