Youth - Primary Drama Ensemble 5 - 12 yrs

This course is designed for school students aged between 5-12 years. During this term, students will explore the conventions of storytelling and ways to develop a story for the stage making use of the elements of drama. Students will work together to devise a collective story that allows for verbalising experiences, communicating feelings and constructing meaning. This shared learning experience will allow students to explore narrative as a way of interpreting and verbalising experience and will be presented as part of our semester showcase program – On Cue held at our Creative Arts Space.

If you have, or are eligible for, a Creative Kids voucher (which can be obtained from Services NSW and is only available once a year – click here for more information), you may like to use your voucher to enrol your child in this program. Requirements:

  • Dance shoes or sneakers, comfortable clothes to move in & water bottle for class.

At Atwea College we offer a wide variety of Business, Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Region and the Mid North Coast.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom. Parking fees may apply at some venues.
