High Tea is an ancient tradition that originated in the mid-1700s in Britain. Its roots can be traced back to India, where the ritual of offering Chai (tea) and food for conversation was a symbol of hospitality, respect, and friendship. Join Promila and learn how to make a variety of delicious Indian snacks, including Pakoras (vegetable fritters), Samosas, Beetroot Kebabs, Chocolate Burfi, Semolina Halwa, and Mint Chutney. We will also be preparing the quintessential Indian Chai to complete the experience. * see website for requirements

Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Enrolment
To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.

Bring With You
Apron, closed toed footwear, tea towel, container to take breads home, note pad and pen.
Safety
Please note, you will be learning how to cook in a commercial kitchen using oil. Indian spices, chilli, flour, milk products and nuts are used.
