Disability Skills Set

  • Facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support (CHCCCS038)

Looking to jump start your career into the disability industry? Not sure you are ready for a full qualification?  Why not enrol in this short Disabilitys Skill Set course? You will be supported to complete work experience with a Disability Service. The units you will study can be used as credit transfer should you wish to continue your journey in community service employment. Needs ro include Work Experience inclusive of Wex Book as part of Skill Set to prove work experience done as part of units.  Work placement is 60 hours.

CHCDIS011 Contribute to ongoing sills development using a strength-based approach
CHCCCS038 Facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support – Enrolling students must already have completed this subject (CHCCCS038) for this class as a pre-requisite as this class is joining an existing running course that will only have the Disability subjects to complete, a Credit Transfer will be applied to this skill set for CHCCCS038 instead this time around.

This Statement of Attainment is subsidised by the NSW government subject to eligibility and availability

Prerequisites

As the students will be joining an existing class, CHCCS038 will not be covered during this course, it will be by Credit Transfer

 Pathway

These units may be used as credit transfers on successful completion to complete qualifications in the community services training package
