Home Studio Recording Skill Set

Assessments are made against units of competency.

  • Perform basic sound editing (CUASOU212)
  • Incorporate technology into music making (CUAMCP211)
  • Create simple musical pieces using music technology (CUAMCP313)

This skill set is designed to develop basic skills in recording music in a home studio setting and give a taster into this exciting area. Get skills in Logic and ProTools, the leading software in the industry.  This skill set will enable you to write, record and edit music for yourself and other artists for publishing.

2 days a week for 8 weeks

Students can use this skill set as a pathway CUA30920 Cert III Music and depending on the units you hold, may be eligible for a credit transfers, which may reduce any fees applicable and further study time.
