Why I love to teach
I love to pass on my knowledge of what I know and have learnt myself.There is always a student who is creative but is unsure of a few basic steps to follow through with an idea or creation.Giving them confidence and the ability to achieve beyond their expectations is so rewarding.I love watching each student better equip themselves as they embrace the aspects of sewing.

My experience
Rundles was a great industry obtaining commercial experience in garment manufacturing for 10 years.

My teaching style
I feel like I have a relaxed teaching style to incorporate a comfortable environment for learning. I usually start with a small item as an icebreaker when I teach Basic Sewing.It is often a pin cushion.It’s nice for a non sewer to take a completed item home on the first night. I then follow through with an item of choice to be made.Checking size,pattern,suitable fabric and notions(such as zips,buttons,elastic)

Something unique/interesting about me
I made my hubby a mini bean bag for his ipad as he liked to relax and read in his armchair.It was a huge hit.Upon showing my friend who runs a Book Club she suggested combining my love of Embroidery.This proved to be an even bigger hit.I was invited to an exclusive Book signing in Sydney to show off my designs and now I make them for friends around the world.
