Jeni is an inspiring teacher and facilitator who infuses spirit and soul into the workshops she guides. Her incisive insight combined with a gentle, fun, relaxed, compassionate and engaging presence, adds power and magic to the healing tools and techniques she shares.
She invites you to awaken to your true nature and to Be Yourself, Create and Thrive! Jeni’s creative expression techniques guide you to access, map, and unearth greater understanding and meaning about your past, then, assists you to re-discover your inner wisdom, deep yearnings and resonances for clarity in the present and future life direction.
Jeni has been creating stories and art since her childhood fingerpainting days. Through writing stories and reframing myths and fairy tales into positive healing narratives that captures life experiences, archetypes, psychology, and Kulture, coupled with, self expression using acrylics, pastels, charcoal, textiles, mosaics and 3 dimensional artworks. Together, these have been her passion and her sanity. Jeni knows and understands how art heals and transforms lives.
Jeni has a background in psychology and mental health and after 15 years experience working with children, families and young people in welfare, training, justice and indigenous settings in 2010 Jeni studied Complex Trauma and later Creative Expression Therapies to synthesize her two passions – transforming lives to thrive and creativity. Jeni offers workshops and private sessions in Forster/Taree.
Jeni has an Adv Dip of Transpersonal Art Therapy, Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, Dip of Management and BA (Hons) Politics, Sociology, Women’s Studies and studied Psychology for many years. Professional member IICT. http://fingerpaintingforthesoul.wordpress.com
