Why I love to teach

I like watching “the light turn on” in students faces and the thrill they get from being able to achieve a new skill.

 My experience

I have been training all levels of computer software/ devices since 1997. I started with Atwea in 2012.

I have worked with computers since 1984 when I started in the NSW Public Service.

 My teaching style

I am quite relaxed and like to make sure the students feel that the course is “theirs” and that I bring out their ability to ask questions and get the most out of the course.

 Something unique/interesting about me

I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me.

 My qualifications

I hold an Advanced Certificate in Office Administration and a Statement of Attainment in Word Processing Instruction. I have then completed an IT Level 3 Certificate and moved on to a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
