Why I love to teach
I love teaching at ATWEA because you meet people from different backgrounds. I love to see/learn from people, sharing both their interests and experiences.
My experience
I have taught Japanese at a Day Care Centre, Business college, TAFE, High School, and now at ATWEA.
My teaching style
Everyone has different learning style, so I like to use a mix of visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social, and solitary styles.
Something unique/interesting about me
Since I have lived overseas, I became more aware of my own culture, I love Japanese tea ceremonies and flower arrangements. I have also played basic Koto - a plucked half-tube zither instrument, but now my Koto instrument is a dust collector.
My qualifications
Master of Educational Studies, the University of Newcastle
Graduate Diploma in Language Teaching (Japanese), UTS
