Guitar Lessons - Intermediate

In this course, you will learn guitar techniques and skills that will take you beyond the beginner level and into more intermediate territory.Learn to play in ways that will help allow you to express yourself on guitar and further your musical journey. If you want to further your guitar skills then this course is for you.


  • Music theory -more advanced chords, bar chords, rhythm, improvising, and scales
  • Examine different playing techniques, pick or fingerstyle
  • Play popular songs by Vance Joy, Oasis, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd as well as an introduction to jamming in the blues style.
  • By the end of this eight-week course, you will have learned more complex techniques for playing the guitar and performed a repertoire of enjoyable pieces!

Knowledge required

This course is designed for students that have attended our beginner course and those who wish to expand their knowledge and deepen their skills.

Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.

Parking fees may apply at some venues.

What We Provide

Professional tuition from an experienced musician over eight sessions and a method book with lots of fun songs.


All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
