Kickstart your journey in lawn bowls with this exciting beginner’s course, held on a traditional green.
Learn the essentials like bowl gripping and delivery in your very first lesson, ensuring you have fun right from the start. Progress weekly through hands-on drills, competitive match play, and constructive feedback from professional coaches. All gear is provided, and personal bowls are welcome. Your enrolment also grants you a social membership at Bar Beach Bowling and Sporting Club, with convenient onsite parking.

Enrolment
To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
Confirmation
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom.
Bring With You
Comfortable clothing, flat soled shoes, a sun hat and sunscreen.
Safety
Follow all safety guidelines provided by the Tutor.
Undercover sunshade and cold water is provided greenside.
What We Provide
All necessary bowling equipment is supplied.

Cancellation
All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those"). If your course does not have enough students, it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
