• • Brazilian Percussion on Buckets

    Learn

    Brazilian Percussion using hands, drumsticks and buckets. In this workshop you will learn the basic snare and conga patterns for Samba, Samba-Reggae and other Afro-Brazilian rhythms.
    These patterns can also be applied to other instruments such as Djembe, Timbal, Atabaque and Repinique.

    This class is opened to anyone but will be ideal for drummers or percussionists wanted to get an understanding of Brazilian patterns and structures.
    This class will be taught using sticks and buckets to concentrate on hand technique and right hand/left hand coordination without loud sound.

  • Japanese Beginners 1

    Have you felt the call of the cherry blossom and thought I'd really like to be able to learn the basics of Japanese so when I visit I know some basics................................Well this Japanese beginners course is for you! 

    Learn

    Students will develop basic skills to use in conversation, reading, listening and writing.

    Week 1 - Japanese expressions

    Week 2 - Nationality/Age

    Week 3 - Time

    Week 4 - Shopping !!!! (we all do love a bit of shopping)

    Week 5 - Restaurants Pt 1

    Week 6 - Restaurants Pt 2

    Week 7 - Places and location

  • Japanese Beginners 2

    Learn

    This course is for students who have completed the Japanese Beginners or have some prior knowledge of the language.  Students will focus on furthering their Japanese conversation, reading, listening, and writing.  Students will learn Hiragana.
